For several years, unusual weather phenomenon have been
occurring - from El Nino to earthquakes and volcanos. Other
than to observe and report on the events, science and
geologists are at a loss as to why this is happening. Perhaps
it is time to look at a bigger picture.
Could it be that the planet can no longer eliminate or
neutralize the amount of pollutants, toxins, and negativity
that have been dumped upon it for so long in any other way?
Nature's way of finding equilibrium is often by first going
from one extreme to the other.
This can be observed even in small, localized maladies such as
a sliver or in a full-body flu or illness. If you get a
sliver and don't remove it, you'll most likely develop a pus-
filled boil that will push the sliver out or dissolve it. If
germs or foreign substances enter your body, your immune
system goes on the attack, often with fever, to fight them off
creating quite a bit of discomfort for you until the threat
is neutralized.
It's the same with our planet. It needs to clean itself up to
be balanced once again. It can't function with all the
pollutants, and needs to do something that appears extreme to
us to rid itself of them... And just as a fever burns off
toxins in a human body, heat cleanses the planet.
Our planet has been warming up over the years. The Associated
Press recently reported that "2004 was fourth-warmest year on
record:"
"Scientists say a sustained increase in temperature is likely
to continue disrupting the global climate, increasing the
intensity of storms, potentially drying up farmlands and
raising ocean levels, among other things.
Michel Jarraud, the World Meteorological Organization
secretary-general, said the warming and increased storm
activity could not be attributed to any particular cause but
was part of a global warming trend that was likely to
continue.
Scientists have reported that temperatures across the globe
rose an average of 1 degree over the past century, with the
rate of change since 1976 at roughly three times that over the
past 100 years.
The World Meteorological Organization said it expects Earth's
average surface temperature to rise 0.8 degrees above the
normal 57 degrees Fahrenheit in 2004, adding this year to a
recent pattern that included the four warmest years on record,
with the hottest being 1998.
The month of October also registered as the warmest October
since accurate readings began in 1861, said the agency, which
is responsible for assembling data from meteorologists and
climatologists worldwide."

Experts are finally recommending cutting down on greenhouse
gases.
A study at Cornell University found that spring is coming
earlier than it used to:
"In one of the most comprehensive studies that plants in the
Northeast are responding to the global warming trend, Cornell
scientists and their colleagues at the University of Wisconsin
found lilacs are blooming about four days earlier than they
did in 1965.
David Wolfe, a plant ecology professor at Cornell whose
research will be published in a forthcoming issue of the
International Journal of Biometeorology, said nature's
calendar is changing due to an increase in greenhouse gases.
'It's not just the weather data telling us there is a warming
trend going on. We are now seeing the living world responding
to the climate change as well,' Wolfe said Tuesday."

Climate Change Affects Entire Ecosystem
Climate change means much more than lilacs blooming early. It
affects entire ecosystems. As temperatures increase, more
water vaporizes. As a result, there are frequent and
concentrated bursts of strong rainfall, cyclones, typhoons,
hurricanes and tornados. This not only wreaks great
destruction, but creates stagnant pools of water which act as
breeding grounds for mosquitoes and the diseases they carry
(already happening in the parts of Asia struck by the
Tsunami).
It also causes the ice at the North and South poles to melt
and break off. When this critical source of water flows away
or is used up, it creates serious long-term water shortages
and draughts in many areas. Not to speak of the dangers of
the polar cap ice breaking apart and causing massive tsunamis.
Even the currents of the seas are changing. Every year more
and more confused whales and fish show up on shore and strange
fish are caught in unfamiliar waters, such as the 5-foot
Dosidicus gigas, or jumbo flying squid caught in Alaskan
waters in October. Up until this summer, that squid had never
been sighted in Northern waters.
James A. Cosgrove, manager of natural history at the Royal
British Columbia Museum stated, "It's unprecedented. It speaks
of a fundamental change in the ocean along the coast."
Equally alarming is the fact that the earthquake in Southeast
Asia actually disturbed the earth's rotation, even if briefly.
These events are not isolated, they're part of global changes.
And it appears we're in for more effects of global warming.
The magma in the earth's core is heating up, raising the
earth's temperature and causing eruptions and earthquakes.
Add to this the threat of genetically modified seeds and mad
cow destroying the world's food supply, the possible banning
or limitation of natural supplements, war and continued
ecologically destructive practices that harm the earth, and it
appears we have a bleak future in store!
What can be done? We all need to see the earth from a higher
perspective, one that includes respecting the earth,
preserving our natural resources, working with and helping
others.
Matter Responds to Positive Intent
I have observed that the earth, and everything natural,
responds to positive vibrations. The greatest is gratitude.
For those who doubt that nature responds to positive
vibrations, take a look at Masaru Emoto Kryon water
experiments in Germany. They clearly show the influence human
consciousness has over matter... in this case, water:

Masaru Emoto's book: "The Message From Water" (available from
Amazon) shows the exquisitely beatiful, symmetrical patterns that frozen
crystals of water take when words of gratitude are taped
around them. This is compared to water that came from toxic
sources or had negative words around it. The difference is staggering.
There is no limit to the power of gratitude and appreciation.
This alone can change the course of the earth because these
are the vibrations that nurture and heal it. The concepts of
respecting the earth and having gratitude for it have existed
in every primitive society that ever existed. It is only
modern man that has lost the wonder in watching a seed sprout,
grow and produce. It is only modern science that thinks it is
greater than nature itself. And it is unfortunate (but
necessary) that mankind and the planet will be suffering the
effects of that thinking.
Today we have water, food and shelter. Tomorrow we may not.
But if we have gratitude for what we have, if we stop
polluting the planet, if we, as a united human race, learn
to live in harmony with each other and the earth and make
global decisions that not only benefit us, but the earth as
well, perhaps the earth would not need to cleanse itself so
harshly.
